Larry came over to my house today to diagnose my broken hot tub. After 30 minutes he let me know that I needed a new pump. I said fine, let's order it. However, he still insisted that I needed to pay him $120 just for letting me know that I needed a new pump, even though I was willing to order the new $800 pump from his company Spa Tech, he still insisted that I had to pay separately. All I wanted was for that $120, to be credited towards the purchase of the new pump. I thought this was very unprofessional and it came across to me as a money gouging situation by Spa Tech.
