I began Ava Gardener in 1994, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My garden was selected for the 1997 Santa Fe Botanical Garden Tour. I moved to Denver in 1999, and maintained my business while attending the University of Colorado's Masters in Landscape Architecture program, graduating in 2004.
