Dr. Thakkar attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he received his Biochemistry degree. He went on to attain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Thakkar completed a General Practice Residency at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a current member of The American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. Outside dentistry he enjoys spending time with his family, watching basketball and soccer. He is a passionate fan of Marquette’s Golden Eagles and Liverpool F.C.
