If you have a home warranty, be extremely careful if they send Excalibur HVAC. My experience was infuriating. I called for a small AC repair, and they sent a technician who looked at the unit for three minutes. He didn't even go into the tiny attic space where the "tub" he was talking about is located.
He then had the audacity to claim that we needed to replace the entire tub because "someone abused it." How on earth can you determine that from three minutes of looking at the outside of an AC unit?
This company is not only incompetent but clearly operates with the intent to scam customers and their home warranty providers. They will try to sell you an expensive replacement instead of a simple, honest repair. Stay away.

This is a public service announcement about Excalibur HVAC, especially if you have a home warranty like Home Shield. I've had two shocking experiences with them.
Two years ago, they were sent for a minor AC repair. They didn't even attempt a fix and told my warranty company I needed a brand new $12,000 AC unit. Luckily, I got a second opinion, and a different technician fixed the issue for just $300.
Fast forward to this year, I had a small leak and guess who the warranty company sent? Excalibur HVAC. The technician even said, "I remember you, I'll help you out," with a big smile. He took a few pictures, never touched the unit, and then told the warranty company the tube needed to be replaced for over $2,000! Once again, I got a second opinion. The new technician literally replaced a
$50 rubber part.
Excalibur HVAC seems to be running a scam, trying to get home warranty companies to pay for massive, unnecessary repairs. My advice: refuse their service and demand another company. Be careful and stay away.
