On the other side, bad things happen to good people. When someone loses a vehicle they are unable to pay for and have notified the lender so that the vehicle can be picked up, they should not have their property destroyed in the middle of the night. We have had to go through the hassle of submitting a claim for to the lien holder to fix damages to our home and requesting that either they or the company who damaged the property pick up the deductible for our insurance.. Also make sure you have a full inventory of your possessions that were in the vehicle when taken. This is not a shopping spree for employees of this company. Take a mechanic to validate damage to vehicle before auction so that you can add that to the price that it sells for and lessen your liability. Again, when we called the lien holder to let them know we were voluntarily surrendering the vehicle, this company came out and destroyed personal property as well as the car. We had the front sub-frame replaced due to an accident. They drug it about a quarter mile with the tires not rolling. Take it to civil court as well as a claim with your insurance and against the lien holder for hiring someone who will cause damage and refuse to be accountable. It's bad enough when you have to surrender an obligation. This company added more cost to repair property as if the surrender was not difficult enough.
