I'm writing this review in an effort to warn others (Seniors in particular)to the business practices of Perfect Water, Inc. in Lehigh Acres Fl. In Feb. 2019 I had problems with my Water Softener and called Perfect Water to come out.. They charged me $75.00 for a service call and then took 5 minutes to tell me my timer head had to be replaced. The head was ordered and they came out the following day, charged another $75.00 service fee for the same job, and installed the New Timer Head. The total time spent in 2 visits was approx. 30 minutes at a total cost of $327.00. A few months later I started having problems again, but was still able to operate the unit manually. Finally in Jan. 2020 the unit stopped working all together. I immediately called Perfect Water and was told there was no warranty and his only offer was to come back out at an additional fee of $190.00. I would now have a total of $517.00 in repair fees on this older unit. At this point I brought in a Professional water contractor to evaluate our entire system. During this inspection it was determined that Perfect Water had only installed a partial Timer Head which did not fix the original problem. That was the first I found out that I had been sold a partial head by Perfect Water which did not include a new valve and other key plumbing parts to fix the problem. Based on the cost I believe I was charged for a full head. The partial head had an approx. value of $90.00. I contacted Perfect Water on 3 occasions and gave them every opportunity to make this right in some manner. THEY TOTALLY REFUSED ANY KIND OF REIMBURSEMENT AND ADVISED THEY WOULD NO LONGER CORRESPOND WITH ME. I then contacted a reputable contractor who came out the same day and provided me with a free estimate. I had a totally brand new digital unit installed at a total cost of $600.00, with a 3 year warranty. THERE ARE SEVERAL REPUTABLE CONTRACTORS OUT THERE THAT PROVIDE FREE ESTIMATES AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. IF THE ESTIMATE SEEMS EXCESSIVE YOU CAN GET ANOTHER FREE ESTIMATE FOR COMPARISON. when I set out to get to the bottom of why my well water was getting so bad, I had 4 of the local companies come out, test my water they all were trying to convince me to change my whole system, the highest quote was $5K-$3K instant panic, a friend told me about Perfect Water, we had them out, they recommended (to fix not replace) the bad parts, we replaced a valve and the pot perm tank and our water is crystal clear now, we also had a reverse osmosis put in under our kitchen sink (love it).
