After graduating with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995, Dr. Thomas went on the medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2001, she completed her internship at the college, and in 2004, she completed a Neurology residency at Atlanta's Emory University. In 2005, she completed a Neurophysiology fellowship that focused in Electromyography.
