One morning I woke up with a terribly painful stiff neck. It loosened up after a couple of days, but I noticed that I would wake up with numbness in my arms. I hoped it would go away, but it got progressively worse. I began waking in the night with arms and hands that were so painful and numb that I would cry! I began to fear falling asleep because I knew I would wake up in pain. People that I had talked to would tell me that I had a bad case of carpal tunnel. Being a house painter who uses her hands in many strenuous tasks, I knew they were right. I've known a number of people who had surgery on their hands; some have had several with no healing results. The description of the procedure terrified me and being without health insurance, I knew I was facing a huge problem. When I initially went to Rochester Chiropractic Center I had been struggling with hypothyroidism, anxiety and sleeplessness. I had pain between my shoulder blades and tension headaches. Within the first year my thyroid function balanced out and I stopped taking the medication which was creating an extra electrical pulse on the top and bottom of my heart. I just want to thank both of you for saving my life! It was my lucky day when you stopped me at the fair.
