My family and I rented a home from Blue Robin Properties in 2011. The home was dirty upon arrival and the winter was extremely cold. We suffered from respiratory infections the four months we were there. We had to purchase our own refrigerator to replace the existing one due to mold growth on the inside. The gas bill in January was $600.00. The home contained asbestos duct wrap in the basement that had been torn and frayed in multiple locations. After being notified about the asbestos, Blue Robin Properties took no corrective action, sent us a letter of eviction blaming the asbestos on us, and kept our $900.00 deposit.
