Retail store offering an international selection of fine wines and spirits. CT's most well trained staff in customer service and wine education. Nelson's vision of a fine wine and spirits establishment in the Waterbury area has been realized. Nelson is a native to Waterbury, who graduated Holy Cross HS, and went on to become a Maitre Sommelier Diplome in France in 1987. He moved to Miami and became an instructor of Wine Technology, and opened The Good Life Wine,Spirits, and Gourmet in Delray Beach. Nelson went on to become Fla's Retailer of the Year, and Palm Beach Counties fine wine destination. He returned to Ct. in 2003 and has worked together with Jamie Webb since. Together they have received CT's Retail Management Association's prestigious award for Best Customer Service in 2007. It was the first time this award was given to a retail wine and spirits store.
