Private Counseling Practice. Services provided are one on one therapy, group therapy and social education. Accepts Medicaid, NC Health Choice, Medicar Our approach stems from the Cognitive-Behavioral Theory and Model. This perspective emphasizes current circumstances and uses a scientific approach to understand and treat maladaptive behaviors. The primary goal of treatment is to eliminate the current dysfunctional behavior. We also draw upon Existentialism Theory, Problem-Solving Approach and Brief Task-Centered Treatment. We work with issues that center around child abuse, neglect, dependency, sexual abuse, anger management, domestic violence, substance abuse, self-esteem issues, disruptive behavior, and family discord. We are also willing to work with clients from a spiritual perspective as determined appropriate by the client.
