I hired Max to help me dispute a fraudulent charge from a leasing company. Upon moving, the leasing company charged me for damaged carpet. The carpet was damaged by their maintenance personnel who was sent to fix my AC and tread a trail a dog feces into the apartment. I called the leasing office who sent the same maintenance guy back out with a spray and brush to clean up the mess. The chemical that he used discolored the carpet (light spots). I explained this to Max, he charged me 500 dollars to handle my issue. Weeks later, Max told me that he spoke with the corporate office as my "attorney” and the company released me of the carpet fees. He said that he sent the release to the 3 credit bureaus so they can remove the charges. I asked for a copy of the release of which he has NOT sent me. I later received a call from a debt collector for the carpet. I called Max for weeks when I got a hold of him, I explained the current events of which he told me to give the debt collector his number and he will handle it. I asked him for a copy of the release, he still have not sent it to me. The debt collector called him and he failed to respond to them. He took my money and never sent me any documents and the creditors never received any information from him. I am out of pocket 500 dollars and Max has not responded to my emails or voice mails. I would NOT recommend using him for any services!!!! If he happens to respond to me, I will write a follow up review.
