I spoke with Christina several times about my move and she assured that I was in good hands with this company even after I told her of my concerns after reading the terrible reviews online she assured me that that was a different company and was not her company. In the past reviews someone spoke about a Haim/Heim who was extremely rude and unprofessional and I spoke with Christina about this and she stated to me that I would never have to speak with him. Well that was not true!! The movers showed up late no worries it’s not the end of the world then they take their sweet tome to approach me so that we could started. I spoke with both Christina and another gentleman from dispatch the day before to inform them that there were changes to my inventory that I originally told them. They said to wait until the movers got there and they would take care of all of the adjustments including the new price that I would have to pay. The movers immediately asks me to sign a contract which I told him that I wouldn’t until we went over the change in inventory so that we were all on the same page. I showed him the TVs and he stated to me that I would have to and additional $150 for the tv boxes and I asked why when the TVs and the boxes were already apart of the original quote? He told me no it wasn’t.. so I told him that I was going call Christina to get it sorted out. I called and someone told me that she was on the other line with a customer and if I would like to speak to Heather and I told him no because Christina is the person I dealt with so she needs to clarify. He says he’s going to transfer me to her and places me on hold and unbeknownst to me I was transferred over a rude man who answered the phone “What do you want”. The man was none other than Haim/Heim himself and head as rude and disrespectful as the other reviewer stated. I hung up and went outside to find the movers and they were gone I called them and was told that their boss told them to leave. I called the company back and Heather answers and I tried to explain the situation to her and explained to me that Christina no longer has any dealings with the contract so Zi would have to speak to her or Haim/Heim and I told her I didn’t want to speak to him. She then asked me to hold on one second and yet again I was transferred to someone else by the name of Tom. At this point I’m furious and I cursed at him and told him that I wanted my money back and he told me that they didn’t want to deal with me because I didn’t want to pay and that was never the issue I never told anyone that I wasn’t going to pay for my move just refused to be scammed out of my money! NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! IF YOU SEE THE NAME 1St AMERICAN MOVERS RUN AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!

I guess you get what you pay for. I just got off the phone with my attorney in reference to my son's move out of the state of Florida. When my son was unable to reach anyone (until today), he called me. I referred it to the attorney. Well, what I heard of the conversation made my head spin. I was told my son was nasty, and not only yelled at the secretary, but spoke over her with no resolution to the issue. I always thought customer service called for, at least not being rude, and obnoxious, but to work with clients. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE.... this business is in Florida (where I live).... and Carlos is the person spoken with. Isn't it sad, that anyone has to be treated like Carlos treated a person who was just doing her job.
