Not only was your service professional, your staff courteous, your work outstanding, and your price extremely reasonable, but your knowledge of different products, and your experience with large projects, helped us choose the perfect system for our needs. In addition, the patience you showed in explaining the functionality of our system was truly appreciated, as was your incredible availability. It is unusual to find a service provider that does not simply “push” the most expensive product on the market. Not only did you stay within our budget, but you also were extremely honest in describing the capabilities of various brands – we felt that you treated us as you would a family member. It is for this reason that we have (as you know), recommended you to many a friend – which was easy to do, as we get so many compliments on our system, people usually ask us who did the work. Victor, I'm not sure how to respond to your spiteful and immature email message. First, you were not waiting on me. I was waiting on you. On May 20th I asked if we could speak on Sunday the 21st. You asked for "later in the day." I responded "yes", and … no reply from you. No recommended time, phone number, conference bridge, calendar invitation… nothing. Second, going back to our walk through, I need to remind you that you were late to our appointment, wasting over 90 minutes of my time and used a lame excuse of "I never confirmed the appointment". You didn't ask me to confirm. When I set an appointment, I am making a commitment… there is no need to confirm. Third, you also padded the budget with unecessary cost. Your A/V receiver model was 40% cheaper on Amazon. You recommended access points for $335 when a the latest $129 Cisco/Linksys wifi router gives me 50 MB/second anywhere in the condo per www.speedtest.net. Your speaker recommendations were some of the worst rated on CNET for the price point. Finally, for 2 years I've asked you to fix the remote control at 311 West Broadway that never held a charge longer than 20 minutes. You never fixed it. In short, I've lost all trust in you as a trusted advisor. You appear to me to be looking out for your own interests, not mine. Our relationship feels to me like a "Victor wins; I lose" relationship.
