Dr. Rosenfeld is the best proctologist in all of Southern California (at least) and the best doctor I've seen overall in recent years (and I've seen 8-10 GI doctors over last 6 years!). I initially had laser surgery for 3 hemorrhoids 3 years ago (after years of bleeding and pain), and everything felt great for a few months until one came back due to IBD diarrhea. In July 2015 I had a hemorrhoidectomy in his office, and even though recovery was a little harder than the laser surgery, he called to followup, gave me additional pain meds when I needed them, and I finally healed up great. If you have any issues with your colon, you must see this doctor. He and his office are extremely calming and informative, so please don't continue to suffer. See Dr. Rosenfeld!!

Dr. Rosenfeld is the premier MD to see about chronic and annoying issues such as anal fissures, hemorrhoids, etc.
I suffered for many years before going to Dr. Rosenfeld. His style is to treat these issues conservatively at first, and surgery only when all other options have failed to resolve the issue. I had the fissurectomy surgery February 2015 and my bottom has never felt better!
I recommend anyone that suffers from these conditions to make an appointment.

The reason I’ve chosen to share my experience about Dr. Rosenfeld is easy. He changed my life and I thought others could benefit from my story. 1 year ago I had the Doppler Guided Hemorrhoid Artery Ligation or DGHAL performed by Dr. Rosenfeld. After 27 years of living with hemorrhoids I came to a point in my life; after trying everything that I was ready to seriously consider a surgery or like procedure. I live in Canada and after researching my options I began consulting with local surgeons. In Canada there are very few surgeons who specialize in DGHAL and the few I consulted left me feeling very uneasy about the procedure and uniformed. I extended my research and began looking in the United States for surgeons that have extensive experience with DGHAL. It didn’t take me long to discover Dr. Rosenfeld and to hear about his great bedside manner and unique approach. I say unique because from first day I phoned Dr. Rosenfeld to the post operation follow ups, my experience was phenomenal. He took the time to learn about my condition, educated me on his approach, his experience and exactly what kind of road was ahead of me in terms of pain management, time frames and expectations. He is extremely detailed, informative and is a fantastic listener. He genuinely cares and made me feel very reassured during a time in my life that was very challenging. Dr. Rosenfeld is great guy, funny, professional, dedicate, passionate about his life, career and his patients.
