Lofty Pines Resort & RV Park are set in a gorgeous grove of towering pines along the shores of Big St. Germain Lake and Plum Creek. The well maintained RV Park and Resort provide for a wide variety of accommodations . . . camping, suites and cabins. Most RV sites are permanent; however, there are a few available for last minute campers. One needs to call well in advance to gain access to these sites. The rental facilities accommodate a variety of family configurations. These units are very clean; although some may appear to be a bit tired in appearance. The owners are actively working to correct this. Overall, the rentals are great for kicking back and putting one's feet up. The owners are customer oriented and work to make each family feel welcome. This is a perfect place for families and family reunions. The paved road system accommodates biking for even the youngest of bikers; while an extensive network of nearby hiking and biking paths allow families to explore the greater St. Germain area. The extensive shoreline has a sandy beach and boat docks supporting boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming and jet skiing or water skiing as well as searching for tadpoles! A great golf coarse is located nearby. The smell of evening campfires and marshmallows complete the day as the sunsets! This is a hidden gem for a family wanting to get away and enjoy the north woods. Our family has enjoyed many years of vacationing there as a family and as part of a family reunion.
