We are a non-profit organization created to help supplement the budget for Head Start - a federally-funded preschool for low-income families. 501(c)3 non-profit charity - Established We are a board comprised of volunteers who seek grants, donations and community support. Our efforts to reach out to the community and the nation in their efforts can be more easily obtained via our website: www.friendsofheadstart.org Community-based Friends of Head Start service their counties, while this group is interested in reaching out to each community's Friends of Head Start group in hopes of collaboration and partnership efforts.
