I don't recommend property owners to be clients of Good Life Property Mgmt. My experience from August 2021 to now has declined steadily due to many reasons, including: lack of receipts when requested because repairs were alarmingly high; unscrupulous vendor diagnosis and recommendation for repairs (it was suggested by others in the industry that there may be a friendship between the vendor and management maintenance staff); questionable tenant procurement (it was suggested by others in the industry that a favor may have been given to the tenants, who were suddenly placed in my unit once I questioned why in 2+ weeks of a heated market no placement had been made); ineffective website portal that prevented interested tenants to schedule a viewing; ineffective marketing (which obviously affected the lack of tenant procurement within a reasonable time given the heated market); obliging to fill tenant tickets that are not related to habitability issues and, rather, personal preference; and the list goes on. Namely, I'm writing this because the company does not honor the Money Back Guarantee. Bryce has confirmed that because an outstanding invoice (incurred by tenants and disputed by tenants) will be paid for by Good Life Property Mgmt, this satisfies the monthly commission reimbursement I've requested per their Money Back Guarantee. I have reported this to the BBB and am not hopeful because Bryce says he's conferred with the executive team. Thus, Steve and everyone who works for and alongside him clearly doesn't care for clients (owners) satisfaction. In addition, after consulting other management teams, I've learned that Bryce lacks experience to effectively manage a unit. He told me for the outstanding invoice, for instance, that the money will be deducted from the security deposit; this is not lawful, and he spoke not knowing this was a no-no and has since backpedaled.
