Cancer-specific counseling, workshops, support groups, and grief programs Stillwaters Cancer Support Services is the only organization in Wisconsin to provide professional, cancer-specific counseling at no cost to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. An independent, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1994 by Mary Soergel, Stillwaters' services include individual, couples and family counseling, workshops, support groups and grief programs. Stillwaters helps people begin to heal, to put broken pieces back together again. Through its personal, compassionate approach to cancer, Stillwaters' services complement the efforts of medical providers and empower participants to grow and heal.
