I called the vacuum store Oreck, thankfully they keep all information with purchases, they gave me all the information I needed and stated if she needed to call and verify the price I could give them their name. After explaining my situation to them, she advised me to make sure the vacuum they sent me was outside or in the garage, that many of the vacuums that come in for repair have disgusting things in them such as feces, lice, bed bugs, and many other things that'd make my stomach turn. Just to let everyone know, this is a $600 Oreck XL Platinum Pilot Vacuum, amazing vacuum never any problems and light as a feather with pivoting action...Well they NO longer make the vacuum. The vacuum the brought was an Oreck Forever Gold....BIG difference!!! Well skipping along they wanted to settle with $225 I declined and replied if they settled with $300 we would be fine with that. Racheal read the email never replied that day. Early evening I had done my research legally and a number with Ryan the owner was attached left a message asking him to call me back. Later that evening past 8pm he called my husband stated his wife was done talking and dealing with me, that this was through him and my husband now. How did I get his extended families number (mind you all I knew was his name was attached to this number). The conversation went no where, Matthew whom had told me earlier he was unable to handle any of this and only did the scheduling and owner Ryan VERY unprofessional!
