World's Largest O Scale Model Railroad Layout. It is a museum which exhibits exact scale models of real trains which served Chicago in the 1950s.
This huge O-Scale model railroad exhibition fills a 10,000 square foot building with tracks layed seven levels deep. With more than 10,000 feet of track the exhibitin includes 125 trains, most of them more than 15 cars long and many running up to 300 cars. In March 2010 assembled and operated the world's longest model train consisting of 1203 cars and 26 locomotives totaling 1,112.06 feet.
