I had an appt today for Social Security at MEDPRO Services @ 1:30 PM in Rancho Cucamonga. But was denied access due to having my service dog in training (sdit) there with me. The receptionist behind the counter said to me as I was walking into the lobby that I was not allowed to have my sdit because it was noted in my file that I was not allowed to have my dog. I told the receptionist that she was a service dog in training and she was allowed access, he told me that service dogs are only for the blind and deaf. I proceeded to tell him that it was not true. He continued to tell me that I would not be seen if my sdit was there so I asked him what was I to do, do I contact the social security office. He said yes, so I left the office and when I got to my car, I was starting to have a headache and anxiety attack. Thankfully my sdit was there to help me out as I called my Social Security analyst to leave a message, hopefully she will call me back on Monday so that I can get this resolved.
