Millipede, Inc. Millipede is a medical device company specializing in the treatment of mitral regurgitation (MR) by placement of an annuloplasty ring via femoral venous catheter. The femoral vein is accessed and a catheter is advanced via trans-septal puncture into the left atrium. This catheter delivers the permanent implant to the mitral annulus and reduces the patient's MR as viewed live under echo during the procedure.
