I'm surprised by the negative review on Elements of Cooling and Heating here on Manta. I have used Elements twice in the past year- once to check out why the heater wasn't working and the other for A/C repair. The service technician was pleasant, honest, prompt, and affordable. The unit I have is old, but not yet in need of replacement. Elements could have made $$$ off me by recommending me to buy a new unit when I first called about the heater not working, but the tech recommended that I wait until the whole unit dies before replacing it, but he did fix the heater on the old unit is still working. I'm glad I finally have an A/C guy that I can trust. I will definitely keep their contact info for future use!

American Home Shield sent this company out to service my HVAC recently when my air conditioning failed to blow cold air. The contractor that was sent out not only had a bad attitude the entire time he was in my home slamming his equipment around, but after assessing that there was zero freon in the system and deducting it was a leak in the unit , he left it torn apart and submitted his report to the insurance agency knowing full well they were not going to cover the repair based on his report. From the complete lack of professionalism from his attitude, to leaving the home with a dissembled unit when he knew fully well he would not be back to fix it astounds me. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
