Beacon Energy Inc. was less than pleasant two months ago. Upon my arrival at their Long Beach office to meet with Mark for a meeting, I was taken back by the fact that the receptionist had her sleeping toddler sitting in the hallway as you first enter. She even went as far as to post signs in the hallway marked "Aribella Sleeping" with a picture of the toddler indicating to me that this was a common occurrence. When I asked to see Mark, she snidely responded "Hang on" and seemed more concerned with the idea that I'd wake her daughter who should not be in the building on company property, much less placed in the narrow walkway. A word of advice to the company from a man who has been in the industry for over 15 years, not the best idea to hire a receptionist who doesn't respect the company, and not only that but just caused you to lose out on a potential client. I hope to see that the company sees how a team works and that doesn't exclude anyone.
