Today was our first (but certainly not last) visit to Retro Book Shop in Wilson, OK. We shared a fantastic visit with the owner (Farah) - what a courageous and interesting person. We had difficulty tearing ourselves away to head back to Fort Worth. The tea, atmosphere and books were wonderful. Locals are so fortunate to have such an extraordinary tea room/book store to enjoy on a daily basis. My cousin was (Shirley) was visiting from California and this was our first visit to Wilson in a number of years. We had such a pleasant experience checking out the museum and Farah's Retro Book Shop where we purchased some great titles to read. We can't wait to journey back that direction for another visit. We are contacting other close family members in Wisconsin to see if we can get them to join us for a visit to our old home town. When we do we will certainly make it a point to stop by Retro Book Shop to visit with our new friend Farah Bazzrea to see what suggests she has regarding great books to read and to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and a cup of delicious tea. Jolene recommends the Raspberry/Crannberry Tea (wish had another cup right now) and I should have purchased a box. Thanks again Farah for brewing a cup for me to enjoy while we experiened all your book store has to offer. Keep up the excellent work!
Smiles from your friends,
