Buying on line can be extremely frustrating if you aren't completely knowledgeable on what you are doing. I need to replace an ELK 12V 8 Ah battery. There is no model number on the battery I am trying to replace. The battery that kept showing up on line with that info has an I'd number of 1280 but is 12v 8 Ah. I thought it was the same. I received a Universal Battery - that's ok just another brand - but, of course, the connections are wider. My frustration is I cannot reach a HUMAN that has a little more expertise than me and do not have instructions on how to return my unusable product. Any advice out there. I give this a -5 review due to my own ignorance. Buy local people. Lets not put hard working vendors out of business because we think we can do it on line.
