I have been a regular customer of the CD Cleaners in Libertyville and recently had a negative experience that has caused me to take my business to another Cleaner CD Cleaners ruined one of my dress shirts and they tried to reimburse me 50% of the cost of the shirt. They agreed they ruined the shirt asked me the price told me I would get a check and then gave me half of the value because the shirt wasn't new. I can't go buy a shirt like the perfectly good one they ruined for what they gave me. The difference is over $40 dollars - documented. As bad as this policy is they also send you a check for an amount never discussed with absolutely no explanation in the letter Can you imagine taking your car in for service, having the service dept damage your car in the process( not on purpose but to the point it needed to be fixed) and then saying they would cover only half of the repair cost to return your car to the same condition as when you brought it in. When you are entrusted with someone's property and you ruin it you take care of the person and replace their product as it was or get them a new one like exactly like the one you ruined. CD Cleaners Libertyville promotes their business as a discount operation , I guess I now know they meant discounted satisfaction
