It seems every apartment complex has a small group of toxic tenants. But at Cardona, one of the toxic tenants is running the place. The management company is pretty much absent. They don't return anyone's calls or emails. Before Christmas last year a manager left that had been there for a couple of years. She was very very good. But the management company would not give her full-time and benefits. So she left. Since then, the place is falling apart. Almost literally. In May a pipe broke for the fire suppression sprinkler system. It flooded out four apartments. It is believed the fault of the pipe breaking is the fact that some pipes had to be replaced at the other end of the building. It put pressure on the system. It took them 4 months to renovate those apartments. Something that should have taken at the most a month and a half. One big complaint is there is a tenant here that is allowed to ride his four wheeler around the complex. It's very very loud. I understand even the police have been called. But the manager won't do anything about it. He's out there pretty much every day playing on it. People are afraid to complain about it because the manager would make their life even more hell!
