Marstel-Day LLC is a woman-owned, small business headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA dedicated to enhancing the environment and permanently conserving natural resources and wildlife habitat. Rebecca R. Rubin, a Harvard College alumna, founded Marstel-Day Environmental Consulting, LLC in 2002 and leads the company as President, CEO and managing partner. A diverse staff of 90 planners, scientists, natural resources managers, real estate experts, and GIS professionals collaborate to provide innovative solutions to our public and private sector clients. In addition to our headquarters in Fredericksburg, we have four more offi ces located across California, Mississippi, and Virginia. Our work is regarded for its analytical rigor and inherent environmental ethics. We develop ecosystem-based compatible land use plans, climate adaptation studies, resource conservation analyses, mitigation and banking strategies, and conservation-based remediation and reuse plans for surplus military/federal real property. This work helps our clients identify, infl uence, and adapt to changing land uses, resource constraints, ecosystem services markets, and climate change impacts. We encourage our clients to be thought leaders and, as such, to engage external stakeholders in joint strategies that address the local impacts of these issues' consequences, such as sea level rise, loss and protection of critical habitat, and protection of ecosystem services.
