Terrible! I'm never using Beechwood Tile again and I advise others to do the same. Brett is abrasive, pushy, defensive and rude. He treats his Customers with little respect, and treats his subs with none at all. They did some minor carpentry work, installed/finished drywall, and installed tile on floors and bath in basement. The only positive things I got out of the entire experience was the tiling which looks acceptable. The drywall was terrible. The hangers covered up multiple outlets and lights and holes were way off. The finishing on the drywall was worse. I went through twice and mark all the problems with the finish. Three trips later and it still wasn’t fixed, leaving holes and cuts everywhere. In the end, I finished the work myself as talking to the finisher wasn’t helping and talking to Bret usually resulted in an argument. It wasn’t worth it to me. Brett was quick to provide quotes, worked with us through a weeks delay, and was really friendly when it came to payday. Being in construction for 11 years, I understand the business and dealing with Contractors. If I treated my customers and subs as I saw Brett do, I’d be out of business quickly. I treated his subs with respect, dignity and even physically helped them. We were flexible with accessibility and allowed them to work past 9PM and on weekends. I'm not one to believe the Customer is always right, but being a Contractor is about customer service and communication.
