In 2005, active duty firemen, Heath Scurfield and Jack Montgomery purchased Calli Baker's Roadhouse and changed its name to Calli Baker's Firehouse, in honor of the profession they both serve. While the theme and décor changed, the dedication to customer service, comfortable atmosphere, and good food remained. In 2007, Chief Montgomery left Calli Baker's to continue his service with the Navel Weapons Station in Charleston, SC. Captain Scurfield remained as sole owner to continue to provide Calli Baker's to both locals and tourists. In July 2008, Heath moved his business to a much larger establishment, its current location, 10131 North Kings Highway, in front of Myrtle Beach Mall. He takes pride in continuing the Calli Baker's tradition-good food, good atmosphere, good times.
