KidMed is an innovative, After Hours Urgent Care practice staffed by board certifi ed pediatricians specializing in pediatric emergency medicine. Ki KidMed is an innovative, After Hours Urgent Care practice staffed by board certifi ed pediatricians specializing in pediatric emergency medicine. KidMed doctors are dedicated to caring for ill or injured children and young adults, ages 0 -21. KidMed was formed by three area physicians, all board certified in pediatrics and each with more than 13 years of pediatric emergency experience in the Richmond area. These physicians saw and responded to the need for an after-hours alternative to busy emergency rooms and other urgent care providers who do not specialize in the care of children.
