Karen Amundsen is an accomplished potter who creates functional, wheel thrown, stoneware pottery in her barn studio.

Karen began her foray into crafts as a child with many projects in plastic canvas and cross-stitch. In high school, she worked part-time in a fabric store. While employed there, she learned to sew, including prom dresses, numerous baby blankets, and home accessories. She also enjoyed drafting and architecture.
