My paintings reflect my love of the outdoors, especially those places near a stream, a river, a lake, or the sea. This fascination with the outdoors began when I was a young boy exploring McKenzie Creek, which ran about 50 yards from my Grandmother's home, in Piedmont Missouri. Because of my love for the outdoors, I devote many of my paintings to scenes that have in them a body of water of some type or other. Other features of the outdoors that I am drawn to are mountains, skies, trees, old bar...

Other features of the outdoors that I am drawn to are mountains, skies, trees, old barns, hay bails, and animals. Autumn is my favorite time of year because of the brilliantly colored trees and bushes.
