John was the technician who came to my house, and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He recommended a few things, and I did not break the bank. It was a routine tune up, but this was my first time using the company. I'd highly recommend service with Schmidt, and I'm now going to use them as my routine service!

Schmidt is a great and reliable company. And especially in this hot Texas weather a good reliable A/C repairman is what people need. The heat is unbearable as most of you of course know. And thanks to Schmidt my A/C is now working great. And most importantly it didn't hurt my pocket.

Schmidt Mechanical come out to check my heater for a 20 point check up. It was the first time I had used them. The Tech was very professional ,informative, quick and through. I was very satisfied.

The Maintenance guy came prompt at 0700 before the shop even open. i scheduled regular maintenance check for summer and was pointed out to a different potential problem. the part was not available on the truck, but the maintenance guy ran to shop and fixed it while i had to leave for work. I came home to a better than usual cooled home and no mess at all outside. I recommend this company to all. In the past i have had a tech wire my unit wrong and broke the motor . 4 thousand dollars later i never made that mistake again.

Talk about going the extra mile!!!! This was our third diagnostic visit from various AC companies, but the third time was a charm. Our AC was only cooling down to 84 degrees during the hottest part of the day. We called 2 other AC companies and the first one assumed it was a bad coil without even looking at the actual coil. The 2nd company looked at the coil and it was ok and took readings on the outside unit and tried to push a new 8k AC system on us. Alberto Gomez from Schmidt Mechanical Group thoroughly diagnosed the indoor and outdoor units. The readings didn't make sense so he went the extra mile actually coming inside the house (which the other 2 companies didn't bother to do) and measuring the temps at the vents and even got his ladder and crawled up into our attic. Through that, it was revealed that a couple of our ducts were not fully attached so cold air was just going into the attic. After fixing that, it was found that the indoor and outdoor units were working fine. He even told us how to fix things ourselves to make the ducting even better. Highest recommendation to Schmidt and specifically Alberto!!
