My decorative painting career began about 14 years ago, although I have been an artist as long as I can remember. I received awards both in school and at the state level while younger and was accepted at and attended the Kansas City Art Institute. I would describe my approach to painting as cross-pollinated. I use an artistic approach to decorative finishes and often apply materials and techniques from construction to fine art painting. My decorative finishes are customized to fit the surroundings they are in, typically in collaboration with the homeowner. I currently have paintings on display and available for purchase at Gifted Hands Gallery in Crown Center.
