Mental Health Counseling and Professional Mediation Services JANET METCALF, LCSW, MEDIATOR Janet Metcalf is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Professional Mediator who is an experienced and caring therapist and mediator. She has worked for LDS Family Services, Child and Family Services, Valley Mental Health and now has her own private practice. Janet specializes in areas such as depression, anxiety (all mood disorders), relational counseling (marital, pre-marital, parent/teen, and family), divorce adjustment and all life changing issues for men and women, bereavement, addictive behaviors, and trauma from sexual abuse. She also has extensive experience in counseling individuals with same gender attraction, post-traumatic stress, and crisis intervention. Janet is experienced in therapeutic group facilitation. Janet attended the University of Utah and has a Masters Degree in Social Work where she maintained a 3.95 G.P.A.; she has two Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies. She has had certified training in Domestic and Therapeutic Mediation. Janet greatly values working in the field of social work and counseling with individuals, couples and families.
