THESE ARE NOT "ANGELS" but they put themselves on a pedestal by they way they talk and think so highly of themselves (Paula and Georgie) when you deal with them. Ug, it made my wife and I sick just listening to them sometimes. They appear to be caring foster parents who provide all of the documentation for their pets when you go to adopt. That being said, they are negligent in NOT giving their dogs an inexpensive Bordetella vaccine for Kennel Cough (whooping cough for dogs). We just adopted a six-month old from them and she started showing symptoms of Kennel Cough 8 days later. According to our vet who gave her the vaccine 2 days after we got her home, the incubation period is 2-14 days. If she was going to have a reaction to the vaccine, it would have been within 24 hours of the vaccine.
I'm no math genius, but it sounds like these "angels" exposed this puppy to Kennel Cough before we adopted her when it could have been avoided had they got the vaccine. $500 later and an emergency trip to the clinic at 3am, our little girl is doing fine. But Christmas plans were altered because she had to be isolated from other dogs (our families all have dogs).
To make matters 10x worse, these "angels" refuse to take any responsibility for this condition and will not help out financially in any way. So much for holiday spirit. My advise, DON'T adopt a dog from them unless you have them vaccinate the dog with the Bordetella vaccine BEFORE you take your dog home. It may save you

I adoped a wonderful little dog from Angels Rescuing Animals (ARA)about a year ago and had a very good experience. He was healthy, had all his shots, and was neutered. He is a happy little guy and was well cared for by his foster parents Georgie and her husband.
This organization really cares about the animals they place and where they place them. After what many dogs go through before they are rescued, it is important that their forever home is safe and friendly. ARA makes the effort to make sure this happens. I highly recommend this group.
