We have been with Diamond Insurance for over 10 years. We were living in NYC for several years, but continued to use them for our Geiger Key home. Without any warning or our knowledge, we found out that our Citizen's flood insurance was cancelled a couple of years ago. They said that their underwriter said that we need to replace our roof because it is more than 25 years old. I told our Diamond Agent, Janet, that the Citizen's website clearly states that a concrete roof is good for 50 years. Ours is concrete and less than 50 years old.
Our Diamond agent is not the least bit interested in helping us. Not sure why they suddenly don't want our business after 10 years. I can only speculate their motivation.
Needless to say, we will be changing our insurance company and will continue to write reviews like this on various websites, so that more people know what kind of company Diamond is.
