The messiness is well worth it! The sauce for their crawfish and shrimp boil is tasty and with the right amount of spiciness. I stuck with the medium level, which was spicy but not sweating hot. Their crawfish size ranges based on where they get it from - bigger ones are from Sacramento, smaller are from Louisiana. I like the ones from Sacramento better, since you get more meat for the effort. The sauce has a multipurpose uses: to dip tempura battered sweet potato fries, to dip the peeled shrimp and crawfish for extra flavor, to slather over their rice, or basically put over anything they serve.
Service was quick and friendly. Thank goodness for the bibs and the paper covering the table. We made a mess with juice and shells everywhere. Had tons of fun eating my food. We ordered a second pound of just shrimp.
Overall the restaurant is clean and their bathroom is decent

I was there for Valentines Day and had the Valentine's Day Special. It was a deliciously messy experience. Don't expect something super fancy, and crawfish imported live from Louisiana might be one of the more expensive things in the area, , it is definitely worth a try and compares very well to other Cajun food I've had.
Love Love Love their Garlic butter crab! It's heavenly, I could eat it all by myself. Beautifully marinated in spices.
Definitely coming back and bringing the gang

My gf has been telling me about this new restaurant place for some time. I've never have a full Cajun meal before so I got very excited this evening when we decided to hit it place for a quick early dinner.
We got there at 6ish and found really easy parking. Come to think of it, the President's day plus the day after the V day and CNY, I'm still wondering how many people were going to eat out at the Tenderloin tonight.
We were greeted and seated in a minute. We ordered:
- 1 fried shrimp
- 1 lb of shrimp
- 1 iced tea
- 1 beer
I know, it's a shame to taste Cajun without crawfish but both of us decided to do without it. I had really excellent crawfish once but that was the only time I had it outside of the southern states. So I dare not try it again in California because all of my pass experiences were just bad.
The sauce, original in medium spicy was excellent! The gf and I enjoyed it so much!
I like the service, the staff is very attentive except when they are busy. The only visible male there is super nice! He always has a smile on his face, and he makes his rounds to the tables to see if everyone is okay. There were instances where the wrong order was brought out, but the staff made sure to correct it right away.
All in all, tonight's quick bites was so enjoyable. It's definitely encore-able. We'll come back with a bunch of friends to try a pound of each. I'm not saying that's bad, so, go try it for yourself.
At the end, we're full and the bill come's to $27
