I don't even want to give them 1 star. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! 1. They quote you a low price and after they put everything on the truck, the charge you triple the amount and do not show you the weight of the truck. 2. There Customer Service reps are VERY RUDE and when you ask questions they don't know the answer or give you a rude answer. 3. They arrive late, the mover are NOT insured, the driver which was also the mover showed up at 5pm with a large truck full of our items and called a local friend to help him unload, they deliberately dropped boxes marked FRAGILE off of the truck and said they aren't good with fragile items. WHAT?? They NEVER assembled anything they took apart and left most of our belongings outside. Called them the next day to see if they are going to move and assemble the items and they said NO, Just file a claim. The mover was so rude, he rolled the CHINA cabinet which broke into pieces of glass and mirror. There is damage to my home and many other items which I got estimates to repair and sent it into claims. They COMPLETELY IGNORED it and out of $6000 worth of damage they want to settle and pay $700 including being late to pick up and to deliver. The move was quoted at $5000 and we were charged $12,500. RIP OFF COMPANY!! I wish the OWNER of this family owned business would go through the reviews and phone calls and make some changes, DO NOT HIRE THEM AT ALL!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I have to commend the coordination and sync I saw among the movers from Trans van lines during my last move. I wasn’t expecting much from the company as I didn’t really know much about them. But they were just unbelievable. All four men were very strong and organized. The best part was that when one of them would struggle, others would come and help out. I have never seen 4 men working in so much harmony. They finished the job in just 2 hours. The delivery was made on time and the men assembled all my furniture for me. Best part of this move was that it didn’t cost me a fortune.

The rain just wouldn’t stop on the day we were supposed to move. I figured the movers from Trans van lines would be way late and then I would have to pay them a premium just for the stupid weather. But, to my utter surprise, the movers pulled up in front of my house right on time ready to move my stuffs. They built a makeshift shade in front of my front door with plastic sheets so nothing would get wet on the way to the van. They were very efficient during the whole pack and load process. I was worried for damp on the way but all my belongings traveled really well. They didn’t even charge me a cent extra for the adjustments they had to make.

I’m still at awe given how fast and efficient the movers from Trans van lines were. I hired them to pack up everything from my 1400 sqft apartment and the finished the job in only an hour! They even arrived early on the moving day. It seemed too good to be true. The way they were packing everything and putting them into boxes, it was hypnotic. Then they loaded everything and set off. The movers were not only but quick but also very efficient. I got the proof when I received all my valuables in pristine condition. Given the pace the movers worked with, I’m convinced that I saved tons of money.

I had never hired a professional moving company before my last move. I wasn’t quite sure about what to expect. But I am so glad to report that Trans van lines made my move so easy and simple. Of course they were not cheap. But I realized that I had broken a lot more things trying to relocate on my own and ended up with more cost in damage. Besides, these guys are so good at this job that I had to do nothing. They efficiently packed everything. They were very thorough and careful with my breakables. I even picked up some tips on how to pack glassware and other breakables; newspaper is the magic word. They delivered everything right on time and all my belongings were safe. A vase was broken but that’s a very small price to pay for the comfort this company has provided me.

I was moving to pursue my music career. I grew up in the country and it was the biggest decision of my life. My brother also decided to move with me. We both had some furniture and other necessary things to take with us. We hired Trans van lines because one of our former neighbors used them too. The company delivered in every aspect. Their van reached our ranch right on time. The men took only 2 hours packing everything. They put the breakables in the boxes with layers of newspaper between each piece. They used a lot of tape to ensure the safety of our belongings. We are now safely relocated but the memories of home are very much kept alive with the pieces delivered by these guys.

Many moving companies provide pretty good services. But this company, Trans van lines charges much lower than them but provides similar standard of services. They helped me with my last move and did an amazing job. The movers maintained their timings and worked very fast. Their packing skills really impressed me. The vehicle they brought with them was new. The delivery was made on due time and my valuables traveled very well. They didn't shock me with a crazy bill. They charged exactly what the quoted and I'm very happy about that.

July 2018: this is recent so I'll be simple and straight forward. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO SHIP YOUR VALUABLES! Miami to NYC may be a 3 week process. They will promise the world...the mintue they get your money, then your items, you're done. $1200 quote grew to $1600 to now $2200. They're rude, unprofessional and just do not care. Do not use Trans Vans Lines for your shipping. Just don't do it. I'm aligned with the countless of people who've been duped and decieved. Do not sign contract....rent a Uhaul. Look at the damages from other reviews!

Davie, FL to Boston, MA is not at all a small move. It is indeed a long distance move, which means high risk would be involved while moving the belongings but I completed this tough task without breaking or damaging a single thing! You must be wondering. I also wondered when I checked the inventory and saw all my belongings in one piece and without any damage and in proper order. How I made this possible? Answer is very straight forward. I hired the best moves within my budget and they did the rest. Obviously I am talking about the movers of Trans van lines.

I was moving back home and Trans van lines was the company I hired. I was aware of their reputation but this time I got to experience the magic first hand. The movers were just so damn efficient. They finished the job in just 2 hours! It would have taken me literally more than a month to do that job. Not one of my items suffered any kind of damage on the way! I don’t know how it is possible. They could have gone away with breaking some things but they just had to be perfect. Lastly, would you believe me if I tell you they actually gave me a discount at the end?
