Poor workmanship Poor decisions regarding who to hire for a painter. You don't install hardwood trim prior to being stained and finished. Difficult to nonexistent in contacting builder after home was built a year later. One interior door was not installed correctly and has a 3/4 inch offset Many drywall, nails or screws showing. Grommet trim around one toilet water hose looked like a beaver trimmed it. (I fixed the other one that was even worse) Caulking not smoothed out. They simply ran a bead of caulk and left it. Overspray of paint on windowsills. Paint drips on walls in several areas of the house. Bottom line, the painters were incompetent. The builder is horribly slow. I knew this prior to the pandemic, but I never knew he was a this slow or non-responsive.
