I would never recommend this skating center to anyone!!! On this past Saturday, March 23, some family and friends and I were in town for a church convention. We wanted to take the youth on an outing, so we decided to take them to George's Skate Center. While we were there, the kids had a great time and we didn't encounter any problems, until it was time to leave. It was literally about 5 or 6 minutes after closing time and we had approximately 12 to 15 kids, for which we had to find coats and shoes. One of the female employees (we later learned she was the owner's wife), came to our table and stated, "you all need to hurry up, I have a dinner I have to get to and we're closed". She was extremely rude, unprofessional and downright nasty. However, none of us said anything, we just continued to pack up and tried to ignore her ignorance. Then another female employee came and yelled at one of the kids from our group, because she wandered back to the rink. That's when I responded with, "there are 5 other kids on the rink and you said nothing to them, but yelled at the child that was with us. Her response was, "those are the owner’s kids". I said "well you can't treat kids like that," she doesn't understand that they're the owner’s kids. "I also stated, you have a very poor disposition and you're very rude and nasty and there's a better way that you could have said that". From there it got ugly!!! She said she didn't need "our kind" there (African Americans) and once she said
