Dropped of leather vest to have 20+ 1" wide by 3" long patches sewn on. Wasn't given a price since l'd been there before. I was charged $12 per patch. Outrageous, I contacted 3 other alteration shops who stated they would have charged a maximum of $5 per patch. Went to pick up vest and told them we wouldn't be back due to grossly and extreme charges. I was told good for you, wow I was shocked at the arrogance and rudeness. I will be referring all my friends elsewhere. Also, my wife has to sew at least one patch by hand as the corner is unraveling just from picking it up.
