Family & Criminal Lawyer representing clients in Bartow, Cherokee and Cobb counties. Decisions made by you, not for you. Growing up in a close-knit family in Evans, Georgia, I learned the value of integrity and hard work as I watched my parents successfully run a construction company. I also developed a strong sense of justice, which I often jokingly attribute to negotiating my way out of groundings as a teenager. This sense of justice combined with my compassionate spirit inspired me to found JNJohnson Law in 2009. I believe that decisions involving families should be made by families and not for them. To that end, I strive to ensure my clients understand each step of the process, whether it involves a divorce, custody or other family law issue. My husband, Gregory, and I have rescued six (yes, six!) cats and can often be found caught up in a superhero action movie. Thanks to Gregory, who is a computer programmer, I have discovered, but often still deny, my inner geek and enjoy watching science fiction and fantasy shows such as Doctor Who and Firefly. I also practice yoga, which has taught me more patience than I ever imagined I possessed. My involvement with the court system began prior to law school. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State University and worked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta as a Courtroom Deputy. Working inside the courts gave me a unique perspective on the practice of law from behind the scenes. It also sharpened my desire to serve the public. I consider it an honor to represent victims of domestic violence through The Cobb Justice Foundation’s TPO Project and to volunteer with the National Alliance on Mental Health.
