Mrs. Tobey is a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (state license #LCS17999), was trained and educated at UCLA, and has been practicing therapy for the past 21 years. She specializes in and provides individual therapy (ages 18-60) for depression and anxiety as well as grief and loss (especially mother-loss). Other areas addressed on a regular basis: self esteem, midlife issues, communication skills, transition to college, stress management, and assertiveness. Mrs. Tobey's approach is authentic, straightforward, down-to- earth, and nonjudgmental. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic, and mindfulness based therapies.
