I have a 3 year warranty on transmission. Still with in period, broken vehicle won't be repaired by transmission company that issues warranty. I had my transmission replaced by J&M Transmission in Orem Utah. While considering shops to fix vehicle, shop manager said that for $200 extra dollars we could get a 3 year warranty on our vehicle. We purchased the extended warranty. The shop manager said that at any time I could bring in the vehicle to any of the J&M Transmissions if in the unlikely event of transmission failure. After 2 years and 9 months, our transmission failed. I brought the broken vehicle to J&M Transmission in Lehi, and they are refusing to honor the warranty cowardly saying that they were not the shop that worked on it and thus are not responsible to fix it. I would take it to the other shop, but it is now closed. I would not recommend this shop.
