Malcolm Baroway paints European-influenced oils in the impressionist, post-Impressionist, and (non-abstract) expressionist styles. Though he has been painting professionally for less than 20 years, Malcolm Baroway has been juried into both national and international art associations and his work is part of more than a hundred personal and business collections. People who buy his work, say they can recognize "a Baroway" because his paintings are singular, if not unique, "a mix," it is sometimes said, "of Bonnard, Picasso, and Grandma Moses." Today, Malcolm is 74, "old enough," he says, to have grown up with Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, and (non-abstract) Expressionism, "the work that made Europe the center of what was then termed 'modern' art."
