APOPS foremost goal is to encourage recognition of pelvic organ prolapse in all its forms and stages and to advance understanding of this health condition and the treatments utilized for it. POP is a women's health disorder that has been shrouded in silence and mistaken for other health concerns for over 4000 years; breaking the code of silence is pivotal for the advancement of POP recognition and treatment. Pelvic organ prolapse is an global women's health concern. The impact of POP varies from country to country and region to region; the need is shifting awareness, providing education, medical intervention, and support.
